          • Ammar and Agga visited PBS on Wednesday, December 18, 2019. Ammar is currently a student at the International Program of Diponegoro University Semarang. He takes Communication as his major. Agga is a student at Accounting Department of  the International Program of Gajah Mada University in Jogjakarta. Good luck boys! Thanks for your visit.

          • PBS teachers participate in New Directions 2019 (Japan)

          • PBS is proud of Mr. Amin & Mr. Tory's contribute to the New Directions 2019 conference.  Mr. Amin found it very interesting sharing experiences with Dr. Margo, the author of WIDA. There was a very constructive discussion on delivering maths and science content to Indonesian learners in a mulitliningual environment. We look forward to hearing more from them as the Conference continues.!

          • Well done, Girls!

          • PBS Pre-School A students, Maryam Chamomile Ayuwijaya Rachman and Mikhaela Bluebells Ayuwijaya Rachman, won the Bronze Medals in Yogyakarta Hamengkubuwono Cup - Beginner Class Roller Skate in September 2019 and Piala Walikota Solo - Beginner Class Roller Skate in Oktober 2019.

          • New Directions 2019

          • Permata Bangsa School sent Mr. Tory Nusantoro and Mr. Amin Masruri to attend the New Directions 2019 Conference held by the British Council in Japan from 7 to 9 December, 2019.

            Pre conference statistics workshop on the 7th of December is on "measuring the unobservable".  They learned some approaches and statistical approaches to measure and gain insight into the otherwise latent variables such as students motivation or learner aptitude. They discussed some alternative Apps and Web based platform to deliver online learning which cover 4 language skills, Teacher Roles in Online Learning: Pedagogical,  Social, Managerial and Technical.

            Digital Literacy is important for both teachers and learners before conducting the online learning; Innovation and Change  in Language Assessment can be implemented if Policy makers and stake holders work collaboratively with Language Testing Institution.

          • It's planting time!

          • We learned about plant life cycle by planting our very own mustard greens. We mixed the soil with fertilizer and dry leaves and put the seeds on. We enjoyed it! We will take care of our plants everyday.

          • Let's Make Eco Brick!

          • PBS High School students (Grade 7-12) are making eco bricks with the support from 'Marimas' Eco Brick Team. 

          • TD Immunisation

          • Grade 2 and Grade 5 students had Td (Tetanus) Immunisation held by Puskesnas Ngesrep.

          • PSA's Mini Fish Tank

          • We learned about Ocean Life this week.

            We had fun designing our mini fish tank from recycled plastic container.

            We put rocks, plants decorations, shells, and small fish in it.

            We really love it and will continue to take care of our new classroom pet.
